samford -120: going with the bulldogs tonight in a game where the line move makes no sense to me. preseason rankings put furman 2nd and samford 3rd in the conference. however, bart torvik ranks samford around #300 and the paladins (still my favorite nickname) sit around #150 yet the line has moved from furman -1- to samford -1-. cant see any news or injury report that would account for this move. only thing i see positive for the bulldogs is they'll have the best player on the court in 6'9" sr sharpshooter jaden smith. while i usually like to be on the top end of these line moves across zero, tonight i'm taking the sammies on the money line.

Way back in the day they had some really good men's tennis teams.

They had cool "warm-ups" (jackets and sweat pants) with a banana slug serving.


Note 1: Of all universities/colleges in the world, their nickname is top 5.

Note 2: Not sure if it is true or not but a guy on the men's tennis team told me that the name actually came from the men's tennis team. There were "slugs" on the court and the name stuck (pardon the pun). Again, might not be true, but that is what I was told.
