the citadel +2-: lets start off with some harsh reality. uncg is 41-10 overall against the bulldogs, and 24-1 last 25. Bulldogs' last win was in overtime 11 years ago. but the 'dogs have shown a little life this year, and currently stand 4-5 in the socon, tied for 5th place with - yep, uncg. the last matchup between these two was in greensboro two weeks ago, where citadel carried a 16 point lead into the second half, only to fold up and lose 66-63. but even with that win, the spartans are only 2-5, 1-6 ats in their last 7, their only other win coming at hapless vmi. spartans have been poor against the number this year (6-14 ats) and now face the revenge-minded bulldogs who score 12 ppg more at home than on the road. i'll gladly take the 2- points that could be the difference here, and again try a smaller side bet on the moneyline.

sorry ix, i seldom trust my judgement on the pack; they're just not trustworthy in a spot like this, or at least they haven't been. have they turned a corner? idk, but if i was to bet against them it would assuredly be on the moneyline, because, usually when the slip, they crash and burn.

unbelievably ot again for uncg/citadel.
What blows my mind, and I'll never understand this... UNCG got the ball with about 10 seconds left in a tie game. Plenty of time to get a shot going to the rim. Instead, the ball never went inside the 3-point line. I'd say in that situation, roughly 90-95% of the time, these guys end up hoisting up a 3. Lower percentage shot, less chance of getting fouled, and a high chance of a long rebound, which makes it less likely that you can score on an offensive rebound. It's just stupid all around. I don't know if they're all just trying to make Sportscenter with a buzzer-beating 3 or what. Even dumber in this case, because the coach could have called a TO to get them to run a play.

As we were getting +2.5 in this game, I thought for sure that asshole was going to make the 3 at the buzzer. I'm kinda shocked he didn't.

Great call, loophole.
