I do not practice religion. I do not like that the catholic church has allowed things to spiral out of control in terms of sexual predation, nor do I understand how these popular 'gods' discriminate based on sexual orientation
However, many religious folks, including some on this site, are intelligent, good-hearted people that do not deserve to be grouped in with these extemist animals. JMO.

It has everything to do with religion. What do you think gives them the right to commit such atrocities? They do it in the name of god. These thugs are just a more primitive version of those that follow religion in the West. We have evolved in spite of religion, but other areas of the world are still stuck in an ancient mentaility. People used to be killed in the name of Christianity. It really is no different. Keep lying to yourself if you think differently.

Now I understand some don't believe in a Creator, higher being, God, etc....but people are fucking nuts no matter where the fuck you live. Because some extreme terroists in places half way across the world creats chaos based on "Allah" or Islam or David Koresh fucks young girls in the name of God or the fact he thinks he's God has nothing to do with Christianity.
Are these not just simple rationalizations for fuck-ups to do the shitty things they do? I don't think it has anything to do with religion, but crazy piece of shit people having freedom to make any choice they want and then having the freedon to "blame" it on anything they want.

How the hell can you say that? They kill themselves over religion almost daily, so don't tell me they don't believe. They believe so deeply that if you offend their God, they'll kill for him.
