first of all he is a Republican from the Bush administration. Second, there is a smokescreen for something else that is happening behind our backs. These are my opinions only. When did democrats care about morals? Bill Clinton was getting hum jobs in the White House and nobody cared. Petraus is married to an old hag and a hot woman 20 years younger was paying attn to him. I don't agree with cheating but I understand. If he was a democrat this story goes away. Since he is a Republican its getting out of hand...

That has little to do with the fact that Petreus had an affair. It has a lot to do with:
His honey had a number of classified documents in her home that she did not have access to, and took them - big national security concern.
The fact that Obama/WH knew about this affair for quite a while before it was announced. This was used as blackmail against Petreus, and his testimony, on September 13th. There is a huge coverup on Benghazi, were Obama basically decided to let the Americans die. By being able to blackmail Petreus, he was able to keep the truth from coming out before the election. If it would have, Obama would have had no chance to be reelected.
It sounds like Petreus testify under oath. Which is important - as I don't think a 4 star general would want to go to prison - he may be an attractive boy friend for many guys there, not unlike a police officer.
The truth will come out. Lets hope it is strong enough to impeach Obama. Doubtful though, as Obama is a dirty Chicago style politician - he gets away with things that no other politician can/could.
