1-1
Got lucky last night with a split (1-1). FSU had no business covering, but god knows I've lost just as many of those as I've won. Hatten, is good. Rutgers....not so much.
ok.
I'm not overly thrilled about anything today, but i'm sure some of you will convince me in your own threads.
I like Hofstra to beat WMU. How far is richmond from williamsburg? On pure talent Hofstra is the better team. Apodaca and Adeleke, have the ability to take over a colonial conference game. WM counters with Hess who had a monster game the last time these teams played, but I'm a firm believer, that any team can scheme a defense to stop one individual. (although, Hatten proved me wrong last night) Hofstra returned 5 starters from last season, and this is invaluable come tournament time. at a PK. I pick Hofstra.
In the IVY. I'm going against my alma mater , and taking Brown for what should be an easy win. Brown still has an outside chance for an IVY league title, so a let down here would be surprising. The line might be a little light due to Dartmouth's recent performace, (winning and covering 4 of their last 6). But on closer inspection, all the wins have come against what amounts to glorified prep school teams. Cornell and Columbia are awful.
The Big Green have been IVY league heros covering 9 of 11 conference games, and are probably making rich men out of many. Generally ATS numbers regress to the means, another reason that Brown seem the play. Forte and Hunt are a cut above the competition here.
Brown -4.5 (might put some on the Ml -192 pinnacle)
GL everybody.
