MN is playing 3rd game in 4 nights, back to back tonight on road. teams in this situation have gone 7-24-4 this season SU.
Phila's Chechmanek is 1.88 gga his last 9 starts at home. The last over that occured with him starting in net at home was Oct 24! (over now 0-11-2 since then).
Phila over is 2-19 at home this season. Leading scorer Roenick has just 12 points at home so far this season. But problem tonight is Fernandez in net for MN. He could show alot of rust...
almost took Vanc, but worried about Thibault stealing one. He's very hot now, and has two career shutouts vs Vanc. The teams he has shutout, in his league-leading six this season, for the most part aren't ones he's had great career numbers against. And he lost 4-2 to them at Chicago, so they want payback too. And Vanc hasn't lost many lately, but they admit some of the wins and ties have been pretty ugly.
