Here Here, for a 50% handicapper people do kiss Nolan's ass around here. If you saw any of the games today, maybe you can tell me how much time and effort one needs to spend analyzing games. Just flip a coin, it's just as reliable and take far less time.

Wash -7, nice 4th and14 defense vs a terrible offense...180 yards on offense and Dallas covers?????

Atl/Clev over 41...a TD at the end of the half not called by the refs or overturned and then Feeley misses a chip shot...Warrick "i dive straight into the ground" Dunn can't score 3 times from the half yard line at the end of the game????

Minny-3.5...despite their giving ways (fumble in endzone, blocked FG returned for a TD) is covering the whole game and can't get a 3rd-1 at the 1 with a minute left to go up by 12, nope FG for the 8 point lead...of course then the Lions go 65 yards and of course fail on the 2 pt conversion.

Miami -2....from a Bears fan, nice to see Wanstead continue to be a terrible in-game coach. Nice call by the officials on that PI but Miami let NE back in the game the last 3 minutes...then they kick the ball out of bounds to start OT...just like the Bears vs Lions earlier in Detroit.

0-4 in 4 games leading/covering most every game until the final 2-3 minutes of EVERY GAME. A 880 potential profit into about down 770, nice.....my coin could have done just as good.

Will any of my afternoon losers turn into winners????....highly doubt it, it's that kind of day.

ya know, i guess it just doesn't matter anymore if you're basicly a good person, work your ass off to try to beat this game, and then spend the time to come here and present it in a straightforward manner - for nothing - so that others can reflect on your efforts and possibly benefit. if you ain't winning all the time, someone's gonna be bustin' your balls. i'm surprised any cogent people bother to post here at all. i remember when it didn't use to be this way around here. too bad.

[BProviding reasons and theories to support your position helps others make a decison on that game.I often disagree with Nolan's picks, but part of it is reading why he likes each game and the writeup that backs up his thoughts.

I often disagree with Nolan's write ups also but I read them. The information is there that allows you to follow or take the other side. Its all about the information.

Good Luck

Nice pick....To be honest-and honesty is not a type of bashing-I think people kiss Nolans ass around this sight, and all he has to show for it is a 50 whatever percentage (not unlike many cappers on this site)

Oh by the way-don't give me the s**t about how many posts I have.. Its about quality -not quantity

worm the fact is that Nolan has hit in the 60 per cent range proven and documented.

Where as you havn't hit shit or shinola for whatever years are in your pethetic existance.

Like the fact you have like 16 posts:hail :thumb: :hail :jump:

Amen LOOP, this place should be all about sharing information. With a combined effort we should be able, over the long haul to produce a profit. There should be absolutely no bashing of someone who posts there picks for any reason. I for one am finished with the nfl. I've been doing this on a daily basis for 25 years. I paid my dues . Now it seems like everything I've learned about handicapping you can throw out the window. I just went through a 2 and 18 streak, in which the 2 winners were blowouts, 4 of the 18 losers were just bad bets on my part, and out of the other 14 losers I was winning or covering every game late in the 2nd half. Six of the games lost on the last play of the game. The refs decided some of the others. I guess I'm just not smart enough to figure them out.
I do know NC-Charlotte won't get any more of my money.
Enough ranting, best of luck to everyone.

F&$KING HELL, HERE SOME GO AGAIN

I have only been here at MJ's for a very short time, but during this brief spell members continually sledge others for their posts.

Now it has been documented that Nolan has won over the last three to four years, and this season is no different as he still shows a profit with angles, sides, and totals all inclusive.

What do some of you want on here. 80% winners every time. Open your eyes, it just does not happen.

I have noted that most of the critics (shit stirrers) never post plays on a regular basis.

Lets see, for those that criticise you all make 50 plays in total on NFL playoffs, NHL and NBA from 1st Jan till 28th Feb inclusive. Those that hit +30 winners will qualify for $200 which I will donate to the winner. I know the prize is not much, but its an incentive to those loud mouths who come on here slagging all others.

All I can say is IF THESE MORONS PERSIST THEN NO ONE WILL CAP PLAYS ON HERE. I FEEL NOLAN HAS JUST ABOUT HAD ENOUGH, FLETCHER POSTS LESS NOW. DONT SEE SAM OR STAG MUCH NOW ON NHL, THUNDER IN NCAA.

Thanks guys you certainly know how to aggrevate and annoy people.

Come on lets all see your capping skills, or will it be more of a case of "crapping skills".

On the course!
To call Nolan out is ridiculous. To say others kiss his ass? Well.....I would agree. And you know what? It's an ass that deserves a pucker!

The guy busts his ass putting this information together, and even if he is an excellent typist, it would take hours to put all that shit down for us slobs to read!

And he does it for FREE! The guy could easily make money with all the things he writes. You wouldn't pick up Sports Illustrated and be satisfied with, "New England will kick Miami's ass!" as a review on the game. Christ the guy does what very few can do. Put a reason behind his plays! Most people have no write-ups because they can't tell you why they like their plays. This guy hits a wall, and everyone wants to shit on him. I can't imagine the amount of time it must take him to do his research each day/week and then do a huge write up as well!

I'm only sorry he got one of those fuhkings I have been harping about in my other thread. (Gin brings up a few more of those 'coin tosses'.)

People think I am a prick for some of the shit I write, and I can live with that. I can't stand guys who give zero effort, busting someone elses ass who is giving sound reasons for his plays. I respect the guys who want to challenge my views , because at least they aren't laying in the corner licking their balls. They are making a stand on something they believe in. Some of you guys are just horse shit, and will always be.

You have to question the integrity of the bashers. This site is full of them. If you haven't been bashed you can consider yourself nobody. I hope those that get bashed do not forget that for every basher there are hundreds of us who enjoy and admire what the bashee does. I just hope the bashers don't run off any more 'cappers on here.

Scott,

I'm curious how you thought both of these straight plays could win, but the teaser would lose.

Nolan....I feel your pain, I too let loose on the skins and got
burned.....but as you well know we win some and lose some....
I imagine for every game you've lost by a hook, you've also
won as many or more by the hook.....a short memory serves
well in this thing we call gambling.....if given the opportunity
I would play it again......as to you're scaling back on your
write ups, I'm sorry to here that, but I understand, especially
with some of the pricks in here who love to spoil others day.....
and this poem is addressed to those people............

The Man in the Glass

When you get what you want in your struggle for self

And the world makes you king for a day

Just go to a mirror and look at yourself

And see what that man has to say

For it isn't your father, mother or wife

Whose judgement upon you must pass

The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life

Is the one staring back from the glass

Some people may think you are a straight-shootin' chum

And call you a wonderful guy

But the man in the glass says you're only a bum

If you can't look him straight in the eye

He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest

For he's with you clear to the end

And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test

If the man in the glass is your friend

You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life

And get pats on the back as you pass

But your final reward will be heartaches and tears

If you've cheated the man in the glass

(author unknown)

As we approach the coming of a new year, we should all call
timeout and speak to The Man in the Glass.........

.........Here's to a Happy and Prosperous New Year to
EACH and EVERYONE here..........:toast:

Nice write up and poem Billy. I got a question .

If you felt so sure that Washington would beat Dallas which they did. Why wouldnt you just play the moneyline. Screw the points and the friggin hook.

You knew they would win but hoped they would cover ? Spurrier needed to give that game ball to the owner. It happened.

Thats what moneylines are for.

It has been my point that thanks to "parity" or whatever you want to call it, thouroughly handicapping NFL games has become almost totally pointless. Flip a coin and stop wasting your time; the NFL has almost become like Roulette, very little rhyme or reason.

Almost 2/3 of the games come down to the final drive (total or spread on the line) so why waste hours and days going over stats, numbers and crap when during those final 2 minutes of the game your basically begging for the W anyway and all those stats and angles are meaningless. Now factor in bonehead calls by the refs, stupid moves by coaches and players and totally worthless calls on instant replay and this further proves that handicapping the NFL is a waste.

Scott, this is the last time I will address you.........you are the
joke of the neighborhood, both here and where ever you
reside......go back and read my poem, and if it does'nt sink in....
go back and read my poem, and if it does'nt sink in.....go back
and read my poem, and if it does'nt sink in the third time, go to
a corner and jack off for three days.....it may not do you any
good but it will give the rest of us 72 hours of piece and quiet....
