If you don't mind me throwing out my 2c..

I'm not buying this magical boot theory one bit. He's going to have to wear high tops for the first time in his CAREER. The shoe is actually wider to allow for the ankle brace. Now you couple this with fact that he's got to balance and push off for 120 pitches tonight for them to win is ridiculous to believe. Not to mention a wet mound where they'll be kicking mud off thier shoes all night. It's going to be in the low 40's tonight and if there is any kind of delay, I don't think Schilling can keep his ankle loose. Everyone knows he's got to pitch into the 8th. IMHO I don't think they can count on their bullpen a third straight game against a lineup as good as the Yanks. They left over 18 men on base in game 5 against Pedro and company. You can't keep giving this lineup chances like that and expect to come out on top every game.

One other thing, It's in YANKEE STADIUM where Lieber is KING!!

Lieber is 4-0 in his starts against Red Sox. He beat Schilling in Boston in July. He is 14-3 SU at home.

Prop: Jon Lieber winning pitcher +191 3units

Franchionne just said on ESPN that he's going with Wakefield and Lowe out of the bullpen in case schilling can't go.

Wasn't Wakefield the one that gave up the Homer to Boone in Yankee stadium?? We all know the answer to that one.

schilling wont last 3 innings, just like game one. i think boston has to give it shot?? he is the only rested pitcher they have! i honestly think, boston is really nervious, about there pitching tonight!!!
that is why i think the yanks will score early and often.
yanks big!

I agree with this 100%. When you have to use a foot for balance and that foot is hurt, it will hurt regardless. There is no 'magical' boot and he will not be able to throw very well because its his planting foot. If they drug him up and he loses feeling in the foot, it is worst and doubt they will go through that approach. Hard to balance when you can feel it. There are other drugs which will remove the pain but... I just dont see that 95MPH fastball coming..

Too much of my disappointment, I think this is the end for the Sox tonight in Yankee stadium. Miracles can happen but unless the sox get on the board first and big they are going to go down tonight IMO.

Mach, love the prop as well at +190! WOW. Good luck man!

ARROYO looked very sharp last nite and only went one inning. Wakefield, fomer closer could pitch again, since he throws nothing but junk, his pitching is more like playing catch than pitching as far as strain goes. PEDRO would probably even go an inning if needed, anything to beat the hated YANKS.

I think SCHILLING will be himself tonite. He hurt his ankle back in SEPT, and did fairly well down the stretch and vs ANGELS. With a week to rest it and get therapy, I'm sure it's gonna be ok tonite. He'll pitch til he dies if needed, no one questions his heart.

I have a series bet on YANKS +135, placed before CURT pitched game 1, but I still think we may see a game 7. Something tells me the SOX pull one more rabbit out of their arse, SCHILLING and LIEBER hooking up in a duel like last nite's NL game, and BOSTON gets the win late, 3-1. I want to see a Game 7, although it will be tough on BOST pen unless CURT is solid and goes 7 or more...

Right now, leaning to BOST, Under, and Under first five.

Will decide shortly....

There's nothing wrong with Schilling's foot ankle or anything else. Boy was I duped. Nice cover up Boston....

Well MLB, FOX and everyone else who wanted 7 games got it. My only decision now is do I chase the Yanks one last time?

We'll see....

What do you think the line will be? There are so many factors and questions going into this potential game 7 I don't even think I could venture a guess.

MACH1...

I seriously think SCHILLING purposely threw those two crazy pitches in the 1st with a purpose. He let one fly inside, then way outside to unsettle NYY hitters who obviously were told to jump on the first pitch, like JETER and AROD did.

Been at the bar watching the game and didn't get to chime in earlier, but I think you'll read it somewhere that he did that on purpose.... he was nails with control pretty much after that.

Still two innings to go..... anything can happen now as we have seen the past two nites...

Good luck!

This is exactly what the game hedged on.... CURT's foot. If he's CURT, BOST is strong, and if not, YANKS rule. Can't fault you for thinking he wasnt' sound, I seriously think he played it up a bit lately to make the YANKS over confident. As for my later comment, I think those wild pitches were definitely intentional on his part to do just what they did, psyche out a great hitting team....

He said he would shut em up.... he finally did.

Get em tomorrow bud!!
