UTEP will cover a lot at home as they don't seem to be getting any rpi or bookie love, but on the road, the reason that the Miners (along with other schools) are leaving the WAC is because of the type of (non)officiating we saw last night. I forgor to take into account that WAC refs could have been influenced by the WAC commish to help UTEP lose, in punishment for leaving, due to what UTEP says is a 37 year history of bad officiating. UTEP might not be a value play a lot, esp on the road, esp if their money lines start to refrlect hoe good they are. The nationally tv'd game prolly means the jig is up, but we'll let the next road game and the next home series tell the rest of the story.
