I am not concerned with Obama's affiliation with Wright, nor am I concerned with the 'Songbird' nonsense involved with MCain's captivity. This type of stuff is useles noise that pops up regularly, but seems to amplify on election year.

This 'noise' takes away our focus on their positions on finance, foreign policy, energy, war, etc. These actual issues will make or break us, not the Obama fist bump nor the wealth of McCain's wife as the scum at MSNBC and fox news would have you believe.

I wasn't trying to be fair. If I recall correctly, a bunch of you guys, most notably SixFive for a while, used to complain fairly regularly that this was such a radical liberal forum. I made a note that it was the opposite in 2002-2004 and got called on it. So I went and found a load of ex-regular posters from that era to validate my point. Took me less than 10 minutes. There were definitely some on the left that are gone now (off the top of my head, the ones I remember are I Love WR, Ocelot and Master Capper), but it was clearly a right-wing forum back then.

And unless you have a very, very poor memory, I'm calling bullshit on you having "never heard of half that list." I suspect you have heard of just about every one of them. Although I can understand why you would want to forget about the last three on the "now gone" list.
