I called my buddy to see if his directv went, because that is what I thought happened to mine. At least Phil got his.

jr11

I have a feeling a lot of people were grabbing their remotes. I was watching it in HD and when the screen went black so suddenly, I hopped over to regular HBO and the credits were rolling.

Phil's head = pimple :mj07:

Hope all is well jr11. Fantasy football around the corner.

When the show went out or off, the song "Don't stop believing" was playing. The last thing you heard almost the same time as the door bell rang was "don't stop". To me it smells of more, be it a movie, more episodes or something.

I don't see it stopping here, they left it wide open for a move,or another season,or maybe I am just hopeful that is what they did

Very disappointing, I thought the writers of the Sopranos were better than this. They left if open for a movie. Which will happen in a few years.

:sadwave: I am going to miss the Sopranos

Did anyone catch the first of John from Cinn, it sucked big time. It will never make it to another season imo.:com:

They got what they wanted with that ending. Look what were dong here discussing it. Every places is doing the same. What happen ?????? what will ??????. Are they still sitting there eating or are half of them dead? Is one of those there to kill Tony? Is one other Toni's man and has his back? They will talk about ending for months. Like I said that ending gave them what they want.

David Chase wants everyone to write their own ending. I don't want to write my own ending either. My take is in the first episode this season when Tony and Bobby are at the lake talking about getting "wacked", Tony says "it's the one you don't hear that gets you." Well I think the blank screen and silence spells doom for Tony. At least thats the way I am ending it.

It will end just like it always does. A lot of unanswered questions.

Its sad that not one guy can man up on this site and say "sponge you were right". This is why i stopped watching this show to begin with. I missed about three seasons of this show because of this exact reason. Even a freaking soap opera will finish a plot once in a while. And if you want to make money and can get a bet down on another silly show the flavor of love charm school the Asian girl is gonna win just like i said three weeks ago.

i say

i say

let's go with this crazy theory

it ended right when meadow came in

she had secretly been craving power the past few years

dropping out of med school and being a pro bono lawyer was all a guise

she had set it up with the new york family to take over the new jersey end

she comes running into the restaurant and

reaching into her purse

wacks her dad, mom, and brother

If only! :) That would have been nice. The one thing I wanted out of this show was for Tony to eventually get killed, with Carmela or AJ pushing daisies as a consolation prize. Oh well.

Just finished it....

I liked it. Enough closure in regards to the war, family, dead people etc.

All it's saying is, in the mob life, you never know if the suspicious looking guy passing you in the diner is just some mook, or if he is going to kill you. That's the whole point.

There is no closure or happy ending for Tony, there never can be in his line of work.

You just enjoy the good times in life, and roll with the punches.

Didn't bug me at all.

Some people are born complainers, never happy with anything.

Good series

Fin.
