Cubs have a lot of home games left and Sammy is on fire- he is real streaky- I can see him hitting 65-70 bombs this year-
Sosa will catch Bonds-

I am a huge Giants and Bonds fan and there is still little doubt in my mind that Sosa will catch him. Sosa expands his zone, so he will see a lot more ptiches that he hits out than Bonds. Bonds rarely swings at balls, which is a majority of what he sees. I would love to see Sosa break the record.
When I first saw your post, I was thinking, yeah yeah... someone bet the CUBS and got excited by the moment! THEN, he hits another, and then ANOTHER!!!

I love SAMMY SOSA, been a CUBS FAN for years and years. Used to go to games at WRIGLEY as a kid with my dad, having grown up in Lower Michigan. I think SAMMY is a great guy, and an even better player. BONDS is an awesome player, there is no doubt, but I've just never felt like he enjoys the game. It's like "this is what I'm very good at, and get paid alot of money to do. And you want me to have fun too?" SAMMY has fun and it shows!!
NOW, the question of the day... will he get a chance at FOUR??? Last time he hit three in a blowout, BAYLOR took him out.

I really thought after last time that there was no way that Baylor would take him out again. As soon as I even thought it, I look, and he's already out. I don't get it. I understand that it's a long season and all that...but how much would another 2 innings really take out of a guy that has hit three jacks in the game! He'd be swinging on adrenaline alone. Especially in front of the home crowd! Give the guy a shot at HISTORY!
I here ya Rander- I was actually going to post that Sammy would catch Bonds on Monday after I watched the double header and saw how good he was swinging the bat- I am huge Cubs fan but I never bet them big- I don't think either of them will break the record though- Also like Bonds a lot but he will have to get hot-
