Sotomayor Would Not Concede a Right to Self-Defense

She is not going to come out and say " I am going to take your guns away and destroy the 2nd Ammendment " She is too smart for that.
My statement is based on my opinion and the opinion of many others.
If you or a loved one are a victim of a violent crime, I can guarantee you, you are going to wish you had a firearm, not a tomato or your dick in your hand for defense. So it's time to get off your high horse of "Guns are Bad" Bullshit, NO ! People are bad, and guns are tools of evil when in the hands of bad people.
I encourage everyone I know to get into shooting, yeah it can become expensive, but I have an airsoft pistol for target shooting and a .22 as well. That's all I will tell you I have, I shoot my airsoft pistol in my warehouse, because it's 115 to 120 degrees and going to the range SUCKS ! ! !

She is a centrist? :mj07: Her Q & A above alone is pretty clear on her view of fire arms. She danced around the pool without answering the question clearly about ones right to defend. As I stated I would much rather have a firearm than a tomato. Don't get me wrong, tomatos make a great thud when you hit a moving car, but a thud is all they make, oh they do make a red stain. But they don't stop the assualt.
Until you spend 2 hour at the range and smell the burning gunpowder and cordite, it's hard for one to understand the excitement, the rush and the powerful feeling of holding the steel in your hands.

Shooting is not gender exclusive, I didn't choose to serve because I had issues with my manhood. Why did you bring that up? Just something else to try and piss on the spark plug? I have been called worse off base returning from overseas coming back from combat tours.
My mom shoots and she is 65, my ex-smother in-law commits bambicide still and pops them off at 300 yds + and she is 74.
The debate has turned into an argument and I don't want to go down that road.

Thats a tough one, not really a right wing kook, but obviously two groups with a large agenda who were most likely going to knock whomever Obama nominated.
If these are the only three sources you can show that should show you this is really a non issue.
Why do you assume I'm not a gun owner? I've been a gun owner and a hunter most of my life.
Uncle Ted makes a lot of sense but I don't care for the politics of the NRA. Anyone can cut & paste the propaganda of political organizations like the NRA but you still haven't told us why YOU believe Sotomayer's bent on "tearing down the 2nd Amendment". I'd expect a better argument from the ?Illuminati?.
