So Carolina -20.5 over ECU ***
over 61.5 **
SC is loaded on offense.Garcia is one of the best Qb's in the country....Latimore one of the top Rb's and Jeffery one of the top Wr's...that is 3 guys that scored 19 td's and rushed for 1,200 yds,3,000 yds in the air and 1,500 in receptions...vs one of the worst teams in the country on defense...ECU can't stop anybody..they only have half the def starters back. They gave up 49,76,42,62,and 45 in their last 5 games.I was at the Rice game and saw the 61.5 pts scored on them. There were 3 plays up the middle where no LB's or backs were around. An opening bigger then the Lincoln Tunnel in NYC.Anyone here at MJ's who have gained 10 yds with no one touching them.
ECU is pretty good with Davis at the Qb..he can score..but their best rb graduated and Ruffin their best rb has been suspended... SC defense is pretty bad also..ECU will score so the over 62 looks like a nice play..Spurrier has this reputation about running up the score but not at SC..some of the smaller teams like they played in the past yrs like Furman,FAU,Woffard,La Laf he beat by a few td's....Troy was the only team in the past 3 or 4 yrs he buried...3 tds is a lot but I think he's loaded this yr with this offense and ECU could be in trouble. This game is not an ECU home game..It's being played in Charlotte so the crowd should be equal..my son flew into Charlotte from Austin last nite for the game..hate to tell him his Pirates are in trouble.

Both teams have solid qb's but Huskies have Harnish who cannot only pass the ball but run.He had over 800yds rushing and threw 21 tds last yr.Those are the qbs that give Army problems....mobile ones.Plus NIU runs those 4 & 5 WR sets with no one in the backfield...Army has lost most of its defense..Only one DB returns..NIU will score....but Army has its wishbone..and with Stellman at qb run it perfect.Hassan inside gained 1,000 yds and Maples outside gives them a powerful running game...Army's lost almost their entire OL where NIU has one of the best. Both teams lost most of their DL's...LB's is Armys strength but vs NIU some of those guys won't be on the field...and that'st where the problem lies..Army's secondary is so young and inexperienced...Armys defense will have a hard time to put pressure on Harnish. He'll have time to throw or run if he see's a gap.Army has to play more Db's to answer the Huskie set...I think Army will be able to run against this NIU defense...stopping the "wish" looks easy but they just keep coming at you.Steelman is really good after 3yrs at the helm...I see some scoring so the over looks good...I think this game stays close until the end...if NIU stacks up against the run Army does have some Wr's that can catch.NIU has a new coach his style its to rush the plays every 15-20 seconds..Army wants to play ball control....not a big play..like the over though..
BYU -2 over Miss ***
Really like this game.
BYU with Heap will get protection and time to pass to his Wr's. Di Luigi is top back. I know of about 4 or 5 Luigi's here in NY that own pizzeria's..don't know any that can run and catch a football....is he an Italian Morman..not sure but I think the BYU passing offense will give the Rebel secondary big time problems...Miss has Bolden who is a big time stud and they are athletic. ..BYU playing a SEC team is a step up..this isn't UNLV,Wyoming,etc..but think they can get buy
