Havnt been buying that many points this season, but now this play comes up.
My view on this is that even though SC is known to take dumps in big games at night on national TV, that South Carolina has grown beyond that. They are capable of taking this game from LSU and not looking back.
One big problem is that LSU is in the shit if they lose their second game in a row. They have extreme motivation to win this game. And maybe they will. But I doubt they can cover 7.5 points.
I think this game Saturday night will be differant for the Gamecocks. They have the right combination of athletes who run to the ball with a powerful defense. Maybe the best in the nation as it stands now.
LSU has no offense. Florida just stuffed them on the run and Mettenburger stanked.
LSU has scored 18 pts in their two SEC games. I do not trust Mettenburger at all to pull this game out for LSU. If he could have then he would have done it at Florida. Last year LSU does not lose to Florida.
Maybe the Honey Badger is the missing link big time.
LSU's defense will keep this close, but I do not believe there is no way in holy hell that LSU covers this by more than a Touchdown.
