as to wofford, adrien borders should get some decent minutes, as he did vs davidson. justin stephens is questionable, but the terriers have been getting pretty decent backup guard play. in the davidson win, sr g david eaton made 7 of 8 treys and fr g eric marshall scored 13 pts in 19 minutes. in fact, coach young has been pleased with his team's play during their current three game winning streak. after the davidson game, he said, "Have we arrived? I don't know But I was very pleased. I feel good. I'm looking for another level of maturity, another level of urgency from this team. I think this was a good win and our play today will go a long way."
young is a sharp guy who stayed with the terriers for a long time as an asst before he got the head coaching position. every year, he signs his team up for the one of the nations toughest road schedules. it usually pays off during conference play, as his teams have consistently finished higher than preseason predictions.
the furman game was a taxing one for the eagles; they had to go balls to the wall right down to the final buzzer against a very tough furman team. they've now been on the road since friday and face a huge game in statesboro on saturday against college of chas. to boot, wofford has won five of six against the eagles in spartanburg since the so con took on its current configuration.
as you can tell, terriers look prety good to me too. g/l with the play, hawkeye.
