i am seeing the contrairan angle on this one. Everyone in their mother is on nebraska... anyone with me here?? I like the southern Miss D but their O is shaky at best. Looking for some input.. Is nebrakska that much more of a superior team?

If I was betting, id take SM....Nebraska isnt THAT good, Huskers may win, but I think it will be low scoring and SM will keep it close..just my 2 pennies..GL homie:toast:

I saw the UAB team that Southern Miss beat last weekend 17-14 and it is one of the worst teams in Div. I football. Nebraske will KILL this team. Be carefull, but there is a reason that everyone is on Nebraska. I don't understand the low line.

I'm with ya buckeye..Nebraska hasn't played anyone yet to really show what kind of team they really are, just happy to see the line keep going up..Joe Public doesn't usually do that well on a mover like this....

Although this could be somewhat off-set by the fact that Nebraska is only averaging 22 ppg and laying double-digits (now)...not a good combination. Think Nebraska is better this year and don't think So Miss is quite as good as they were a few years back...where there rushing stats would be just the opposite. I've found out that sometimes you have to ask yourself...if there is going to be a blowout...which team is more likely to do the 'blowing.'

then it occurred to me - smiss couldn't score on eithe UAB or Memphis without their help, how can they score on nebraska? I'll count on one turnover deep in husker territory, so one field goal for smiss. thats it
