Word around here is that this one will be one of the bigger the area has seen in many years. When my man Glenn Burns(local coin flipper) makes these projections though it is usually a dud. We shall see.

These local guys suck so bad here. I heard from 2-6 inches of snow predicted for Friday and it didn't even snow!

I don't know of the storm you're talking about so off to weather.com to see what's up.

Well the coin flippers here in atlanta are calling for 3-5 with up to 8 inches of snowfall possible. I honestly do not watch much weather as it is pretty useless, but it seems at the least we will be in for a few cold white days. Not going to argue as I prefer winter(cold and snow) to this damn heat. Nothing beats a fire, a whiskey drink, and snow falling outide the window while watching the excitement of a 3 and 5 year old over the snow!

Well within the first hour we have a complete whiteout with 1-2 inches of snow and ice mixture and strong winds to go with it. Dont know how long it will last, but if it keeps up at this rate for any amount off time then it will indeed be one for the books around here:scared

No, I have a Xikar and Colibri. Do you want me to grab you one? I'm at the Hilton right next door.

Happy to do so. :0008

Are they seriously opening up emergency shelters down that way for a few inches of snow? I realize it's unusual and hard to handle when cities don't have equipment, but for 3-5 inches? Thought I heard that on the Weather Channel yesterday.

Speaking of 4 inches, that is the amount of snow that has fallen here in 2.5 hours and it is supposed to carry over into tommorrow. It is about to become a mess for a lot of folks if the electricity goes out like they expect.

I'll send my wife down with her shovel, she'll have that dusting cleared off in no time :0074
