Not sure if I can add the link here but, they have a sale going on through July 31 for rooms through the football season starting at $30 on weekdays and $60 on weekends.

You can visit the website for a pricing calendar. Looks like cheapest rates are in Nov/Dec although even weekends are mostly under $100 a night for the entire period.

South Point is well south of the strip and you absolutely need a car to get anywhere. Rooms are good ..dble odds on Craps which really sucks.

Is your remark on the craps odds sarcastic as I think it is better to have the option of double odds...some places have 10x odds versus just being able to lay the normal amount behind your come bet.

I'm probably just missing the point. (which, btw, I have done many times playing craps)

You are right on the SP location...they do have a shuttle service to the airport but, I would definitely recommend getting a car.

One other tip I usually use. I can get the shuttle to pick us up at the airport and then get the car the first day you need it from Enterprise...they will pick you up and you avoid the huge airport fees plus, we usually plan our trip so we don't need a car on the first day.

We are headed out in Sept.

Not sarcastic just stating a fact....... I abs will not play on a dle odds table. If i fly in I just get my car at McCarron when i land. Most times i drive from the Midwest because i stay 3 or 4 months so renting is dumb.

but watch out for the staff

i had room service change $100 bill, she took $3 out automatically :facepalm:

and if you leave coins on the nightstand, if there's quarters, housekeeping will take them
