Going to drive down to Irish country for the game this saturday. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to visit and grab a bite to eat after the game, bar etc??

...great hearing from ya, ant. enjoy the game this weekend, brother. give my best to the lil woman.

going to make the 25 minute drive to the game myself this weekend....if you haven't been to ND before, I would spend the majority of your time on campus, there is plenty to see and do, the grotto, the dome, the JACC (has a lot of ND football history on display here), etc....gameday at ND is awesome. If you are coming into town before saturday, the college football hall of fame is also a great place to visit and it is right down the road from campus....it costs $10 and is a great way to spend a couple of hours. As far as after the game, The Linebacker is a great bar....so is Corby's (the bar in Rudy).....as far as eating establishments, I would call the South Bend chamber of commerce and tell them what type of atmosphere you are looking for and they should be able to point you to what you want better than I can. I wnet there a few years ago to see the Irish play and went to a bar/eatery called Benchwarmers on Michigan Street it was a pretty nice place but not sure if it is even there still. I agree with Mcity, I spent most of the time there just touring the campus as there is quite alot to do there and see.
thanks guys, I'll be arriving around 9am and touring the campus up until game time. then I stroll over to their Law Office of Admissions and see if they want to offer me a spot for Fall 2005. lol
