Just flew over SF this morning.
Pretty cool.
freud would have a field day with this.....
Saw on the news that they were cutting down 400 trees to move it to its final spot.
People were protesting but haven't heard anymore about it.

I remember the Challenger blowing up live before my eyes in 4th grade. Slightly Traumatizing. Not as surreal as 9/11, yet still searing.
State of the space program is a sorry mess, yet I did find heart in a recent anouncement.

seems like a complete and unnecessary waste of money.
with the money allotted to do this they decided the best thing to do with that money was to strap a space shuttle to a giant fucking airplane and fly it around the country while 2 other planes guard it?
