I am going to play along while I brainstorm a few ideas on what to do to pull this guy's leg, except that I won't be forwarding my bank info.

I read a great article about the people who do these scams. It's literally a mobster/warlord etc in Nigeria or Russia with a bank of computers. and he hires his goons to sit there and send this crap out. Interesting.

It is not spam, it is called phishing and costing american and european morons millions of dollars every year.
If they found you, you could be in jeopardy. They do not randomly find addys to try this on. There is an internet behavior pattern that they profile. A few. People who open and read all e-mail corespondence. People who respond to surveys - play games - free offers among others validating their addresses.
If I got one of those(I couldn't) I would report the IP to the Feds.

For better satire or irony references, please use smiley faces or something. I had to read it three times before I could be completely sure you were kidding.

There used to be a website that some dude strung along one of these scammers for MONTHS and documented it all on his website. He had the guy using "codenames" for the two of them to insure privacy - he called the scammer beavis and the scammer called him butthead. It was ebolavirus or ebolamonkey.com or something like that.
