Well, I got through the surgery just fine. I'm sore as hell and can't talk much as they roughed up my vocal cords a bit on their way back to my spine. But my surgeon says that they achieved a nearly perfect allignment. I must say that it does feel strange to be carting around bone harvested from a dead guy, but I'll get over it. Now its two weeks of rest and walking only, followed by 4-6 weeks of physical therapy.

Thanks to all of you that responded and sent emails. I appreciate all of your kind thoughts. I expected no less from Ray, the guy that likes to mention "class"
