Trollin : First of all thank you for your extremely kind words, I do appreciate it very much.
I do not post much for the following reasons.
1. I have a great family,a good network of friends and a job that keeps me quite busy. I don't need the extra attention that some here seem to cry out for. I get plenty of attention at home.
2. I don't consider myself to be a very good football capper, and will only post a play on teams that I have personally observed on the field. Others here have the time and can crunch the numbers much better than I can, so I tend to stick to the teams in my area. I will be more visible during NCAA Hoops.
3. Strange as it may sound, I am quite consciences (almost to a fault) and don't feel good about possibly leading people astray. That is why I may at times toss a play into GMans threads. He is a friend and I know that he would not follow blindly just on my recommendation. When I do post anything in its own thread, rest assured that it is a VERY strong play for me.
But since you asked , see Gmans thread on Toledo and OU. I think that he is right on it. I really loved Ohio last week because they were catching a big number at home vs. a Marshall team that is pretty much void of play makers, and having a bit of trouble scoring so its always going to be tough for the Herd to cover a big number as a chalk. On Saturday OU finds itself in almost opposite circumstances facing an offense that can take it deep on any play. I just don't see how they can possibly keep up. I think the Rockets can name the score. God help me , but I'm also looking a bit at Kent State this week for many of the same reasons I liked OU last week. but the Flashes must contain Marshall LB Goddard. The guy is an animal and can almost dominate an offense on his own.
Thanks again, and keep posting. I enjoy reading your stuff.
