Still waiting Oly lines...

On GCS side it is very funny to see a match up with Bernoldi and Mazzacane. As i wrote in a previous topic (in the world of f1 on april 20th), Mazzacane isn't driving any more!!!!!!

I don't know who gave them, this funny line! Maybe the one who put the post time on their match ups!

They will need to hire you soon to help run the business. Last week 'I think they had Petty in the Nascar race. He did not make the line up.

Not only he is having a tough year with Benetton. Button is presently injured!

Here is what i found:

Benetton driver, Jenson Button, qualified down in 21st place for this afternoon's Spanish Grand Prix, three places behind his teammate, Giancarlo Fisichella. However, the young Englishman is suffering from a severe shoulder injury, seeing the area between his shoulder and collarbone extremely inflamed, and it could possibly force him out of the next race of the season in Austria, if it doesn't start to improve.

Despite his pain in the cockpit, put down to the fact that the B201 doesn't have power steering, Button insists that it's not the entire reason why his times are not up to scratch. He has also tried to downplay any rumours that he may be handing his seat over to the team's Australian test driver, Mark Webber in the next event.

Well.. i'm adding one more unit on Fisichella over button -115 at GCS!
biggrin.gif

Don't think i will add more match ups
for the race. If so, no more than one or two....

Anders you are on FIRE!!!!!!!!
biggrin.gif
Must be the painkillers? Or is it because of the nurse???
wink.gif
Take it easy my friend!
biggrin.gif

Djv, if GCS wants to hire me,

and let's have a great race!

*It is not a pick but Schum at +120 with GCS to win the race is attractive. I am not betting on it (anything can happen in a F1 race! but if you have extra $$$ to spend...)

I called Olympic this morning from work and complained about the lines coming down too early. Didn't get very far with customer service although they were polite. They referred me to another number to talk to Roy. Called that number but Roy was busy and unavailable.

So........ I fired off an e mail to Roy and Spiro expressing my frustration. I hinted in the e mail that perhaps they were taking the lines down in time to avoid picks being posted on a bulletin board! Did not name this board but figured that they must be aware of us.

I told them how much I like their sportsbook but said that if the lines aren't available when I need them that I will consider opening an account elsewhere so that I can play the picks. Also said that I thought that they may be missing some business! Also thought when I wrote it that they probably WANT to miss this kind of business! lol

Response back was that Spiro was out of town and that he would be getting back with me some time next week. They said that they would try to arrive at something agreeable to both of us. Hope so!

I had to work today... I work most every Saturday so didn't really have time to follow much of anything. Glad everyone made some MONEY! Yeah.......... Keep up the good work, ya'll.

I had to attend to my latest CWV (car wreck victim) at work and the occasional wacko. All in all a profitable day at work today.

Here is the reply that I just received from Olympic.. I barely understand it! Anyone know what he means???

Dr ....

The Reason These prices are taken done at this time, Is due to the fact that there are 2 seesions of practice leading up to the Qualifying..

I believe that you'll find that most Books take down there Prices on These Events when The first Practice Sessions start. I Ignore teh first Session, as it has little significance, unless someone destroy's there car or something along those lines...

Also on Qualifying Match-Ups... I only know of one other Book out there that offer them... I'm sure there may well be more, But I am yet to come across them...

And at the moment due to the time of the events of F1 when In europe, there is no-one in the office to take care of the Lines after Saturday's 2nd practice session has begun..

In due time this will be rectified, But we are currently in a building phase offering a new range of Sports and Betting Options.... And Qualifying Match-ups, are rare..I Believe..

As for you getting your Pick's off Bulletin Boards.. Go for your Life... Those type of picks are more than welcome.. At the Moment it is all a timing issue, and hopefully this will be rectified in the Coming weeks..

Regards

Adam...

He means he is too cheap to hire someone to change lines if they wanna take in consideration free practices before qualifying!!!! If they don't want to make a move(changing lines) then don't put your lines down!!! as for the end of the letter...

At the risk of sounding paranoid or nuts..

As far as the "timing issue". The way I see it is.. when the picks go up. "Our" lines come down! hehe

Is it my imagination?

Hey 1837, really appreciate you sharing your knowledge in F1 racing with the forum. My book is offering the following the matchups. With my limited knowledge, I would think those are good odds on M. Schumacher, did he not win like 6 races in a row? Also Oly has him at -210 in the same matchup. Thank you in advance for any thoughts on these matchups, as I really don't know anything about this sport and you you seem to be doing real well.

Looks like we're generally in agreement 1837
smile.gif

Parlay:

Barrichello to beat Montoya (-222) and Button to finish outside the points (-250); parlay odds +103 @ Easybets [3 units]

Dangerous to parlay F1 bets, but Button will only make the points if he is one of only six finishers and Barrichello has so far ahead of Montoya in every session that only mechanical breakdown or accident can really disrupt this one

The rest for just one unit:

Raikkonen to beat Irvine -120 @ Centrebet
Alesi to beat Burti -138 @ Surrey
Barrichello to beat Ralf Schumacher -125 @ Centrebet
Frentzen to beat Montoya +100 @ Centrebet

Alesi & Barrichello look the best ones to me, topspinner, but generally those are extremely good odds compared to elsewhere for those same matchups. Where are they from and have they posted F1 matchups in the past?

I know 1837 has a very strong bet on Fisichella to beat Button and -110 is great value. My only concern wuold be that the Bennetton's have been extremely poor this week and this one will be decided by who survives the longest, not who the better driver is.
