What to expect here in Spain? It is easy, it is written all over the stars: Complete domination by ferraris!!!  That explain why you're seeing odds to win the race so low on M. Schum (4/7 at some places... :( ) Michael love that track, and recent practices of the F2002 put them 1 sec ahead of Mc Laren so shouldn't have any problem for a pole there. If some sportbooks wants to offer me a qualifying match ups with Michael or Rubens vs any other drivers well...:brows:

Qualifying on april 27th (saturday 7:00 am Eastern time)

Race on april 28th (sunday 8:00 am Eastern time)

see ya later on!:)

Going to try and be with you and Stanley on this one. Layed off a lot last few days. Took Jr in Nascar but won little because of the odds. Have abuddy been fighting for his life all week from the big Heart Attack. He just lost that battle late this afternoon. So will be busy helping with that next few days. Hope all has settled down by the weekend. The last 7 days have been bad.

I would say that there will be no value here. Michael will win the pole and the race. The play here may be a dual forecast of Michael and Rubens.

Anyways this is a big race weekend with CART in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday and F1 and CART on Sunday.

The NASCAR race is in California, a race dominated by Gordon (his home track) with 2 wins and a 2nd in 5 races. The only problem with Gordon is his mental state. Other drivers that have done well at the track are Bobby Labonte, Rusty, Stewart and Mayfield. In 5 races his finishes were 5th, 1st, 7th, 2nd and 12th. He could be the dark horse in the race. Carib has him at 30-1 which is really tempting. I'd be curious if anyone has better on him although I doubt it.

For CART I'd be surprised if Kenny Brack doesn't win the pole and the race. He totally dominated the ovals last year and this year doesn't have de Ferran or Castro-Neves to contend with. The dark horses aside from da Matta could be Carpentier (who did really well on the ovals) and Vasser who is in the car that Brack was in last year. Papis also does great on the ovals but he's in an inferior car this year compared to the Rahal car he was in last year.

DJV....Really sorry to hear about your loss this past week. Things like that really put what we do and talk about in perspective. It's not an easy time for you. I recently had to deal with the same thing, (although I wasn't as close with the person as you), and it's quite difficult to deal with.

My thoughts are with you.

1837/Huckleberry. Thanks guys. New by friend for 50 years. Met when we were 10 years old. He was one of the best Baseball Players are little town of 60,000 ever had. If he was young now and with so many majior league teams he might have made it. Fast as heck, could play first or third and hit for average. But hit a good long ball too. Not bad at buckets either. Played on two runner up state buckets teams as a starting forward. Avg 18 points a game. Were talking 1958/59 and that was somthing then.We had many beers togeather. I think I will go have on right now.

Qualifying results: 6-2; +4.90 units

Another profitable session, but Montoya produced his only good lap of the week in the dying seconds to finish just ahead of Raikkonen  Another disappointing performance from DC secured the other loss. Would have been a great session but for those damn Williams!
