Speaking of noses, any smell issues?

Since you guys were so good about nosebleeds, wanted to find out if anyone has had or has issues with sense of smell getting worse the older they get? I am at a point lately that I can hardly smell anything cooking in the kitchen or anything for that matter. Started getting asthma last year and it has seemed to follow suit. Any ideas or recommendations??

I can still smell, but my vision and hearing are both going to hell. :scared With the stuff I'm exposed to at work, I kinda wish my smell would go! :mj07:

Six, I know you've probably said before but what kind of nurse are you?

I own a PRN nurse staffing company here in Dallas and when I go to visit my nurses in the ER and ICU it is too much for me to take. There is no way I could look or smell some of that stuff on a daily basis.

I work inpatient physical rehabilitation; strokes, mvas, multi-traumas, closed head injuries, total joint replacements, and deconditioning are the main diagnoses we see.

Sounds like you work in an Orthopedic and Neuro type center? Two of my bigger clients are Ortho and Neuro centers although I'm starting to not like working with them. They need PTs too often and they're just too hard to find these days.
