I wasn't aware that a city cop could give you a speeding ticket on a freeway? Today after work I was going 85 and a City cop stopped me and gave me a ticket.

California code 22349(A) maximum speed

I have no idea how much it will cost. Probably not cheap.:scared

good site for anyone who gets a ticket in Calif. this guy fights his own tickets and does very well.....he will provide you with step by step instructions and suggested arguements you can use.............wish I could find a guy like this in Ohio.......my 15 year old son got a ticket and most lawyers want 1 or 2 grand to go to work on it.......I will defend it myself and think I have a great case but filing a motion for discovery has got me stumped........don't want to blow the case and look like an idiot by filing some faulty paper work

They can ticket you if you are inside the city limit. Outside the city limit is responsiblity of highway patrol or the county sheriff.
