Man I just can't believe you copied my picks in the PBA contest, what's the deal?

Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and other areas of their life, such as work or school.

If you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may feel a sense of entitlement ? and when you don't receive special treatment, you may become impatient or angry. You may insist on having "the best" of everything ? for instance, the best car, athletic club or medical care.

At the same time, you have trouble handling anything that may be perceived as criticism. You may have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation. To feel better, you may react with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make yourself appear superior. Or you may feel depressed and moody because you fall short of perfection.

Many experts use the criteria in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), published by the American Psychiatric Association, to diagnose mental conditions. This manual is also used by insurance companies to reimburse for treatment.
DSM-5 criteria for narcissistic personality disorder include these features:

  • Having an exaggerated sense of self-importance
  • Expecting to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
  • Exaggerating your achievements and talents
  • Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
  • Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people
  • Requiring constant admiration
  • Having a sense of entitlement
  • Expecting special favors and unquestioning compliance with your expectations
  • Taking advantage of others to get what you want
  • Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
  • Being envious of others and believing others envy you
  • Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner
Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence, it's not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal and value yourself more than you value others.

I compile information from many areas and eliminate what I consider the weak sisters. The Hilton picks are part my process. There were 14 match up this week, I don't do totals and rarely do I pick a double play.

So what are you bitching about (again)......The Hilton Picks were part of my process this week too (Thanks for sharing the info by the way), plus I used a X2 play that happened to lose......I wonder if there's a link that shows weeks 1-6 for the Hilton's Top 5 plays, that would be interesting to review I bet......:popcorn2

Take week #6 in the Hilton, the top 5 were:

1. ne
2. az
3. minn
4. buff
5. det

I used sdiego, car and kc

none were in the Hilton top 5 and I still went 2-1. So the Hilton picks don't always come into play...............it just depends if the picks make my cut. In week 6 they didn't.

You ever read Shakespeare? (We all know you never have and never will, LOL)

Anyway, the lady doth protest too much and is decidedly found out, much like you have been found out here, lol.

Your panicked and quick recovery responses show that you have been found out and have been decidedly owned. Hard.

You know who found you out and proved your guilt? A man from 1610 and a genius from Maine.

Joker .......... Please found out what? Just because I use SOME of the Hilton info doesn't mean much. The Hilton info is just part of my process. In week 6 I made 8 bets. Only 2 were from the Hilton. The bottom line is I do bet and post my plays and you don't. Remember Joker I did challenge you to a contest early on in the season and you weaseled out. So as smart as you think you are you just sit on the side lines while I don't.

So which is it, you used none from the Hilton Contest as you've stated for week 6, or you used 2 from the Hilton Contest as you've stated for week 6.....I get sorta confused with all this new Math that's going around.....:0008

I used NONE of the Hilton top 5 in the PBA Bart contest in week 6. Sometimes I agree with the Hilton top 5 and sometimes I don't. I have 7 areas that I look at each week to narrow down my actual picks, the Hilton is one of them.
