Japan's top baseball player Hideki Matsui is risking his career by playing for the New York Yankees, his agent said January 30, 2003, by 'going to the pressure cooker of all pressure cookers.' Matsui, shown Jan. 14, hit .334 with 50 home runs for the Japan champion Yomiuri Giants in the 2002 season.
