If you are a SA fan............you have to be very concerned with

1. The way they finished the regular season....losing home games to the likes of Orlando......in yrs past these type of games were blowouts......

2. The struggle with Sacto after dominating gm1......in yrs past Spurs would wipe out these types of series

3. The last 3 with dallas........all at home........2 losses and 1 win by 2..........

Watching this game tonight it seemed like Dallas is playing 9 on 3...with all their speed and talent.......

I couldnt help but think how much SA looked like the Detroit Pistons team that finally lost to the Bulls in a sweep........that yr the Bulls finally knew they were the better team and just rolled.....

I think the rest of the leagues elite......ie... Dallas, Phoenix, Detroit, Detroit.......has finally surpassed SA in talent........

Sa was very fortunate to beat Detroit last year.........

Not totally writing SA off just yet but the warning signs are sure there.......

So. Cal
alright guys, im not defending the spurs cause personally i think dallas wins in 6, but Dallas won 1 game and you guys are hounding on Sdynasty. Cmon. This is a handicapping forum, this post should be in the fan forum. Yeah spurs played like tired hags tonight, dont bash someone who loves their team while their team is down. Thats like kicking someone in the mouth after they trip.

Im all for doing it to guys that run their mouth all forum and dont ever have any good capping advice (derek4nd, scott4sc) those guys deserved to have the shiit served down their throat. But SpursD has provided many winnning plays to this forum. Get off his back cause the spurs lost.

On a seperate note, did Ginobili need stitches after he got busted in the face, it looked like the trainer was working on him for awhile? He needs to freshen up on his acting lessons, the refs arent buying it this series. I heard Tom Cruise is so busy with Katie and his kid that he doesnt have time to mentor Ginobili.

1. Your mavs didn't finish the season so strong either, buddy. Going 8-8 the last 16 games. :142smilie

2. Spurs had trouble with SaC yes, but then they overpowered them in game 5 and game 6. Spurs went 2-2 in last year SOnics series and still won championship. :142smilie

looks like to me when i saw that Mavs were only +180 when I believe it started at +145 somethign was fishy ... TP & Gino look gimpy, if that is case no way can spurs win ... Devon Harris was bullet tonight, I liked the kid at wisky and he seems pretty legit ... looking like Mavs in 6 unless POP finds some magic salve

can take mavs -123 for series and +160 to win west, which i tried ... Gino is one of my all time faves but he just doesnt have juice this year, missed 17 games, even Barkley admitted it ... w/o him really helping win a couple games Spurs cant beat Mavs ... Im basing a lot on that assumption ...

Gregg.......I am seeing the same thing as you......to me Parker and Gino have been hurting or something......they just dont look the same to me. Horry is not near what he has been the past few years maybe because of age or something. Duncan has not been the same TD this whole season maybe the foot problem has a bigger effect than anyone realizes.

SpursDynasty........I am not saying anything bad about SA.....they have been a great team but they just have not looked right to me for some time......just an observation on my part. Heck they got spanked this year at home by Detroit......losing by over 20......in years past they would have at least showed up for that game......

I just think its Dallas's year to beat SA......everything sets up perfectly for them.......Just look at the last 10 days or so.......in that time SA has played 8 games while Dallas has played 6........that helps a younger (and Hungrier) Dallas team.....

Good Luck.....
