don`t usually like all public plays,but,given the low lines on some of these games,and a good saturday,i`ll give some money back to the man...


1)giants-2.....over 25 first downs per game the last 4 games...looks like a replay of last year`s run....jets dinged up..mo lewis and abraham out..pennington rusty...no bag shot,but if the giants keep mistakes to a minimum,they are much the better club...home field?...i hate the jets at home,anyway...

2)eagles-3(-140)...on the road.....bought down to 3....atlanta trying out new defensive backfield..no qb....dissension in the ranks....eagles on the road...love `em on the road...

3)bengals-2(-135).....a different team....won their last 2....could have won the 2 previous games to boot(late loss at oakland,o.t. loss at buffalo).....dillon back....kitna sharp...defense aggressive....and jeff blake sucks,period.....blake couldn`t get revenge vs the ravens...i don`t think he gets it here...i`ll ride the surging bengals till they drop...a different feeling in cincy...these guys are actually believing they can win a bad division..

4)cowboys-3(-140)....coming off a bad loss to tampa...snyder allegedly prepared to fire spurrier....wheels coming off the cart in washington....will the boys lose 2 in a row....not sure i`d lay 4.....3`s worth a shot...

5)raiders-3.........main reason,gannon`s gone.....tuiassosopo can play...he`s mobile and a real competitor...if this doesn`t goose oakland,it`s over.....not much left of detroit`s skill position players.....porter and garner back for the raiders....

charles woodson,shut the hell up...everybody knows callahan sucks...but,use your head....and cover somebody for a change...

to much common sense....obvious,public plays...trying to give the college money back....

i sense a big day for the books.....we`ll see....

the jags+7 look like a reasonably live dog.....i understand that Del Rio dumped the stump and axe act and now they have players shooting apples off the kicker`s head with bow and arrow....that might work....

maybe the steelers have a shot...seems like some of these struggling clubs pick it up a little on the road.....

leaning the colts+3....anti-griese play...i`m not convinced...

still thinking on these 3....very small if i pull the trigger...

p.s...adding ar1`s houston +7(buy half....played))....adding denver-2 monday night(played)......looking at cincy/arizona over 39....

I have a similar card. Feel that I'm gonna go 4-0 or 0-4 today and nothing in between. Every week I'm waiting for the books to clean up and it's just not happening yet. Hopefully, they can wait another week to get their money back.

if you just flat out play anti-consensus,this week`s easy...but,if you actually look at things like momentum,injuries,scheduling, ,etc,you have to look at some of the obvious plays....

the fact that these lines are in most instances low,raises the red flag for me.....but,i`m with you,i have to go where my numbers and common sense take me....

nothing to shout about...3-2 on the public plays....i thought i could possibly go 0-fer.....overall,won a little more than we lost.....

won`t be "squaring up" again anytime soon....lol.....was fairly enjoyable as most were close and reasonably entertaining to follow....

other than this weekend, this season for me has been a frutrating year so far. so, anytime you come up in the plus column for the week, is a step in the right direction.

btw, i always read what you have to say, whether it's in the football forum or the general forum. just sometime i don't have time to reply.

i think that gives him as many fumbles in his career as games started.

i'm tellin' ya, fade this guy in a meaningful game and you will win coin. been doin' it for years while he was at denver.

largest bet i've ever made was dec 8,2002 den at jets laying 1.5.
trailing 13-19, he throws a pick late in game while knockin' on the
end zone door for 3rd straight loss which in effect knocked them
out of playoffs.

don't believe a change of scenery changes his results.
can't wait for the jets coming to town on 12/28/03

i`ve seen him freeze up on multiple occasions....my problem is that i kinda like miami plus the 6 this week on the road vs tennessee.....i love mcnair,but i don`t like `em as home fave`s....i can only hope that fiedler`s healthy and wannstadt has the common sense to use him....

tired of losing money on oakland. how does oaklands backup qb come in against kc and play lika a champ then plays one of the worst teams in the league like detroit and outright suck?:shrug:
