So you can't give us one reason you voted for Obama and the only reason you can give us that you're now voting Republican is because of Healthcare Reform?

How is it possible you weren't aware you were voting for a guy who promoted Healthcare Reform as the centerpiece of his campaign for a year and a half? Were you in a coma for most of 2008?

Trench,

I wouldn't be opposed to a universal healthcare system if it makes sense. We have one here in Mass. that will be similar to O's.

People go off and on the care to their advantage causing the cost to rise at my expense.I never said I was opposed to it.

Re-read the post. You conveniently left out how his administration went about getting the final votes which Ron Paul called unconstitutional.

Don't twist what I said, get the facts straight please.

Rusty... you voted for a candidate that ran on Healthcare Reform and now you're claiming you're voting against him because of the way he got the votes to pass what you voted for. That doesn't make sense.

And you can't be that naive about how bills get passed in Washington, can you?

Rusty, I'm not arguing the pros and cons of HR-3200. I'm tired of beating that dead horse.

Am I correct then in saying the primary reason you voted for Obama is because you believed he would fight for Universal Healthcare? And if so, did you support single-payer or the public option? Once we've established your motive for voting for Obama, we can move on to why you're now voting against him.

I tried going over this with Rusty using logic. It doesn't work.

No your not.I voted for him because I thought it would of been the best option moving forward period!

Again ,the way he went about getting healthcare passed did not sit well with me.The liberals have been fighting for healthcare passage for generations, don't be so naive.Obama has not been the 1st one to want this agenda passed.

Independent voters have had enough ,you will see this on Tuesday. What has the stimulus bill achieved??Seriously. The country is no better off since that historic bill passage.

In fact the country is worse off than before.
You can't live off of young voters forever, slowly the noose will be tightened.

You do realize the bailouts started with Bush. He signed TARP. You still haven't given a reason while you voted for Obama.

You know what, Rusty? Forget it. I don't care.

You're still avoiding the question.

You haven't stated why you thought he was "the best option moving forward".

That's OK Rusty. I won't keep badgering you on the subject. Millions of voters have no idea why they vote for the candidates they do. You just confirmed you're one of them.

Btw... I'm well aware of the history of the fight for Healthcare Reform in this country. That's why I laugh every time one of you parrots refer to it as "Obamacare". ;)

Trench you can believe what you want. You and the other T are unbelievable. You badger me on why I voted for him like my vote was without knowledge of the candidate.

Then when I state he was the best(I thought) for the country going forward you call me out like I need to go over every issue from stem cell research to foreign affairs to abortion issue ,to economy ,to how many vacations hes takes in 1 term ,geez T brothers get a hold of yourselves!!

I won't be the first or last one that gets badgered on this site by the T-brothers for no good reason.

Actually T why must I explain myself, to satisfy you? I tell you what here is the reason I'm NOT voting democratic in a few days, because the economy sucks plain and simple.

Hopefully if we have a republican house and senate (or split I would take and actually that would be better)maybe we can stop blaming each other and get something done in Washington, just like in the Clinton era.

A couple things Rusty, all you've said was you thought Obama was a good guy. So thats why you voted for him? I guess the point is, where exactly has he disappointed you? You haven't given a reason. That is the reason people are laughing at you.

As for the economy, who fucked it up? You think you can just sprinkle some dust and everything will be okay? Wake up.

Actually, I agree with you here Rusty. Because when the Republicans regain control of Congress, they'll actually have to DO something. For 2 years, Republicans have done NOTHING but block, stonewall and filibuster every single initiative by the Democrats, even when it was not in their interest or in the interest of the country to do so.

The irony here, that's lost on Tea-Baggers, is that a Republican controlled Congress greatly improves Obama's chances for a 2nd term.
