yeah if i was that good i would be a rich man...just watch the game and you could draw your own conclusions.
Xavier has came out and played a nearly flawless 1st half. Think Xavier still wins the game but gotta think St Joes makes a run in the second half.
St.joes looks like total shit...cant hit an outside shot and cant penetrate inside ! HOLY 20 point lead.
Here at work and I'm not believing my eyes on this score. Shutting them out in the 2nd half 5 mins in!

Right or wrong, I think this costs them a #1 seed. If they had lost in the finals or on a buzzer beater, I think it's a different story. But with a 69 SOS and getting crushed by a team with an RPI of 54 . . .
My prediction is if Kentucky or Miss St. wins the SEC tourney they will be a #1, Duke will be a #1 regardless, if Pitt wins the Big East they will be a #1, and Stanford will be the other #1 if they win their tourney. If Stanford or Pitt falters, then it will be OK St. if they can win their tourney. If 2 of the 3 of those lose, then St. Joe's will still get a #1, but I don't see it happening.

they have no chance in hell of a number 1 seed that is a lock they will be fighting to keep a #2 seed, if somethings go a step out of line they will drop to a 3 seed.

I'm sorry, but why don't any of you guys root for a small school like St. Joe's to suceed. Do u really like seeing Duke and Kentucky win all the time? Xavier may have trashed them today, but they are not a very good team and have had terrible losses during the season. I wish one other person besides me would have anything positive to say about St. Joe's for once.

i love the small school, that is not what it is about, it was about them not having a chance in hell now getting a number 1 and will be hard presed at a 2 because of the way things are ran, been there , seen it done it. That is how the ncaa works trust me nothing is better then watching the smaller and mid major confrences give it to the big boys I love it, but when push comes to shove the little man will be out on the corner watch how many small schools are in the nit with 20+ wins and see how many 16-17 big schools get in to the dance from the big confrences, i think it sucks but it won't change hell between baseball and hoops about the only chance a small school or mid major can get into the big game football is sure not going to let them in. and you will never see a dII or 1aa set up in football for as long as you live, way way to much money at stake for the bowls to ever set up a playoff system in D1, not ever going to happen. And that is how the small schools get looked at in hoops, they won't get a number 1 it is not about liking anyone it is just a fact, a team with maybe 3 losses will get it before them now. But they will get their chance and so will the other smaller conf teams that get in. just because you are in a big conf does not mean you are a big university either take a look at some of the enrollments in the big east, and acc you have schools with much bigger enrolement in other confrences , it is all about the confrence you are in, but would love to see the lower seeded mid majors or small conf teams knock off a few in the dance. is st.joes a number 1 no nor will they get to the elite 8 , did they deserve the number 1 ranking yes they were unbeaten but once they got taken out in 1st game that is all it takes for the fat cats on selection day to use against them.
