Nickhols gets 23 pts,shoots 6-16 from the 3.Those lefties have that soft touch.If he can play like that, that sure is going to take the pressure off Clark.Nobody expected him to have this much of an impact so fast.
Watkins had 20 pts.He has a sweet game.And Clark only had 17 pts.Damn.But he also had 11 assits and led St Peter in rebounds with 8.Almost a triple double.But thats a sign of trouble when your leading rebounder is 5'9 and built like Erkell of "Family Matters".
I guess St Pete didn't get its game going until the 2nd half.Down 27-26 they went on a 54-39 run.
Leckie is a good coach for St peters.He gets everyones left overs.Clark was considered to small to play for St Johns.He played at Rice HS and many of the BE teams ignored him.Watson played at Bishop Loughlin in Brooklyn and again wasn't recruited.
I know they play seton hall on Sat.This kids play harder vs those teams because they were all ignored.But Peter has to rebound better.That killed them last yr when SH beat them 97-80.
