Everyone is waiting for the Stags to fall apart after the loss of their 2 top scorers.But Fairfield has surprised everyone and have won a few games w/o them. Van Schaick the freshman from Glen Falls has come off the bench to score 11 pts the other nite.I saw him play lyr in the NYHS playoffs and thought Fairfield got a great gd.Thomson,Maxwell.Bell,and Goode are enough to beat the Griffs.
Grifffs finally get back their 2 big boys and then Doss their 2nd leading scorer,top in assits and steals gets hurt and is out foe the season.Unreal.
Griffs at home are terrible.They are 1-4-1 ats home.Downey is their only DD scorer.Foster,Spruill and Ferris are OK.Wilson will take over at the pt.They are still one of the worst FT shooting teams in the country.Stags have won the last 6 times by,4,5,18,8,6,and 12.
I like Stags to win this by 4-6 pts.
La-Laf -15 over North Texas
NT is in 2nd place playing pretty good.But Laf is loaded and NT defense will be in trouble stopping a balanced attack.NT has had big time problems vs the Rag'in Cajuns losing the past 4 games by 34,29,19 and 18.Johnson in the middle has really helped NT in the paint but Boyd,Landry,Hamilton and Florida transfer Greene can out and out score.
