Does anyone else think this number is a bit high? I think Cal is probably the better team and they play very well at home, but Stanford has really been playing well of late as well. I thought the line would be around 4, but it opened at 5 on my site and has gone up to 6.5. Am I missing an injury or suspension to a Stanford player? Appreciate any thoughts/info...

its one of those games where theres definitely value with stanford (the line is a little weird) but really dont want any part of the cardinal. they are overdue to get their asses handed to them after pulling out miracles against washington and oregon after playing from behind in both games. also a coinflip as to how effective haryasz is going to be if he plays.

Ok, I didn't realize Haryasz was questionable. They have no shot if he doesn't play. And you're right, Stanford is due for a clunker. I'm still kicking myself for not taking UCLA tonight. Wazzu was primed for a letdown after beating UW at home.

I was just expecting them to come out flat since I figured they would still be patting themselves on the back for beating their biggest rivals not once but twice. The only reason I didn't back UCLA is because some pretty good cappers were on the Zu. I should have went with my gut on this one.
Looks like the game is going to go down to the wire. I got in at +5.5 and it closed at +6.5. That extra point could have come in handy right about now.
