Old School, you are not being curt, at all...just banter, i apologize if i keep stating "SEC", but the reality is that a Washington team that has the # 6 defense in the Country really does not mean shit when you are not playing the best teams in the Country.
I am so sick of this argument. It gives the teams beating the "cupcakes" zero credit. Washington had the #6 defense in the county because their defense played great. Last year they were the only team in all of D1 not to give up 30 points. This year they give up only 14 points a game. Give them credit.
Everyone jumps on the Pac 12 for beating the shit out of each other. It's a competitive conference, and that's how it should be.
SEC East and Big 10 West were awful this year. Yet when the Pac 12 comes into discussion all I hear is cupcake this and shit teams that. Whatever. No one watches the games outside of the West Coast though.
I was in Columbus when Washington played Standord at 10:30pm on a Friday night. I was the only one in the Doubletree lobby bar watching the game (when I had to sit through a fucking TRUCK RACE on Fox Sports 1 because they wouldn't flex to the game and instead I had to sit through caution laps and TRUCK RACE trophy ceremony because a fucking truck crashed. Pac 12 conference is a joke. Larry Scott must be fired. I blame him for everything. If Washington didn't have to play every week at 5:30pm or later they would be in the playoff and win. At least the bartender gave me her cigs and left the guinness tap on so I could drink myself to sleep for free after that game. Shout out to Vickie at the Cololmbus Doubletree.
So sick of this shit. Thank god Chip Kelly is back so Pac 12 gets attention again.
