+7500 on the playoffs

Here is what I am going to play for each of the first 4 games.

I am going to lay off game one, slight lean to Car + 1 1/2

Game two going to play the Wings if they lose game one, going to play Carolina + 1 1/2 if they lose game 1

Game 3- going to play the Wings if the series is tied 1-1 after 2- going to play the Wings if they are down 2-0 (very unlikely) going to play Carolina + 1 1/2 if they are down 2-0

Game 4- If Wings are up 3-0 or down 2-1 after 3 games I will play them- If Carolina down 2-1 after 3 I will play them + 1 1/2

good luck!

What is your reasoning for leaning towards the HURRICANES +11/2 in game one? I am thinking the RED WINGS start where they left off in game 7 against the AVALANCHE and score early and often against IRBE and Co. Not only can I see the longer layoff hurting the CANES but Stanley Cup Final inexperience will hurt them as well. The CANES will have a hard time keeping up with the RED WINGS tonight after the long layoff and having to face a huge step up in competition RED WINGS vs. MAPLE LEAFS. Early leans RED WINGS -11/2 and the Over 4/12. Good luck $$$$

Jake- I think Game 1 is very tough to predict- couple of reasons...

Detroit off 7 game series against big rival- could be a let down tonight.

I also think the Wings might not be up for the Canes even though it is the Cup- They are not the Leafs or the Avs easy to have a let down against the Canes

Carolina has had a lot of rest, will they be rusty?

The only way Carolina has a chance is to play the trap and slow the game down- Irbe has played well and they want to try and slow this game down

That being said I think the best play on game one is Carolina + 1 1/2-

I am not playing this and would like to see the Wings rout them tonight but I am just sharing my thoughts.

Well, would be 1-0 if I would of played it.

Laying the lumber on this one.

Game 2- Wings -300 7500/2500 going to get the 10 dime mark back.

Good luck.

Chenks-

How do you think Detroit will respond in game 2 with the pressure now squarely on them?? I think they are going to come out a little more desperate than game 1. Obviously they did the politically correct "we respect them" deal before game 1 but I still think they took the Canes a little too lightly...won't be happening again. Will Detroit feel the pressure on their shoulders? There really isn't any on Carolina, they are the team with nothing to lose and everything to gain. They are more a "team", whereas Detroit is a collection of future Hall of Famers who on paper are ridiculous but might not have as much cohesiveness. What makes you like Detroit...is it the reality check? Sometimes when a team tries too hard it makes them ineffective and could give Carolina some odd man rushes on Thursday. My lean is to the Canes ML, will have good value.

I would appreciate any feedback

Good luck on whatever you play

Saint- If you like the Canes in Game 2, I would highly recommend playing them + 1 1/2- The Red Wings will win this game.

They are a team that gets it done when they need to. They have the talent, depth, and goaltending to get it done in this must-win game.

Good luck.

Right on the money with your call yesterday! Nice job! I can't see the Red Wings going down 2-0, but after last night's game who knows! Good luck $$$$
I am leaning towards the over 41/2 -130.

+10,000 on the playoffs- sweated this one a little bit.

Going to stick to my philosphy and play the Wings in game three but I am going to see what the line will be before I decide for how much.

I think the line will be Detroit -150 in game 3.

Congrats to those who did well tonight.

Way off on the line for game 3- Oly has it at Det -220.

NO PLAY for me at that price. Still not sure if Detroit is ready to give a good effort for three periods. They looked good in periods 1 and 3 in Game 2 but looked awful in period 2. Detroit has played better on the road in the playoffs this year. I do not want to force these plays. If Detroit loses game 3 I will load up on them in game 4. If the series is tied after 4 games I will load up on the Wings in game 5.

Good luck and be careful.

If you look at my original post I would be 3-0 on the Finals so far-

Today's play would be Car + 1 1/2 but again a no play for me at -200.

If the Canes win tonight, I will load up on Detroit in Game 5, if the Wings win probably a no play for me in game 5.

good luck:D

Game 5-

If I play it .... Det - 1 1/2 -115. No way I am playing the canes in this spot but not going to lay -360 on the wings either. Not in a hurry to give my winnings back. probably a no play but possibly minus the puck and a half. I strongly recommend not playing the Canes in this one. Wings smell blood..... It is over....

good luck:D probably my last post until next year, unless the Wings lose game 5. Want to say thanks to everyone who helped out with their information, posts, etc. it has been a fun year!

I just do not get it? Playing the Canes ML tonight is a waste of $$$

Give me the Red Wings -350 3500/1000

Red Wings - 1 1/2 -110 1100/1000

worst I can do is a push, THE WINGS WILL NOT LOSE TONIGHT:nono:

good luck:D
