Starbucks - wtf?

I know this has been discussed here before, but does coffee get any freaking worse than the sludge they sell at Starbucks?

Met someone at a Starbucks yesterday and thought I would give it another try.

McDonald's has the best coffee...hands down. Very good flavor and not so strong like Starbucks. They ass cream and splenda for you, and for $1.50, it is the best for your money.

also what kind of coffee did you have?

starbucks has many different kinds from different countries, I suggest you trying different types of boldness or lightness coffee.

I've got to agree with you guys here. I've tried them all...bold, light, columbian, etc...and it all tastes like battery acid to me. I can't think of another place with coffee that's undrinkable to me.

Wow, I have never heard anyone rip on Starbuck's coffee before. I am not a huge fan of it, but I would hardly call the stuff "undrinkable". I like Dunkin Donuts and Caribou Coffee the best.

i prefer iced coffee and it also removes the acid feeling. much better for your teeth that way too.

I go there every morning. I always get the BOLD coffee....not that Frappa Crappa Stuff.

I have always liked it...samatra this morning....like Verona is also good.

I like Starbucks, but I tend to like stronger coffees. Its not number one in my book by any means (carribou), but I have no problem stopping a getting a regular black coffee.

I like Starbucks, drink a lot less coffee since I quit smoking though. I mean a lot less of coffee and alcohol. My favorite is their white chocolate mocha!!
