Daily I get an afternoon coffee from the local Dunkin Donuts. Not sure why, but I was inspired today to change it up, so I walked to the nearest Starbucks. Felt good, some decent soft music filling the background, everyone inside, customers and employees had a smile or pleasant expression on their face. Now I may go back to Dunkin tomorrow, but I will admit it felt really good in there.
Now I know my $2.49 large coffee (with tax) will not replace the missing $7 from Hedgesimpleton, but I don?t think that matters in the grand scheme of things.
And about that $7, I scanned the entire drink board and didn?t see anything within 30% of that price. I can only assume that Hedge is so pleasant with his local barista?s that they let him order special drinks not listed for average customers. I?m envisioning a big-gulp sized Frappuccino blended with a brownie from the food counter and extra whip cream on top.

I am neither a coffee drinker nor a Starbucks aficionado, so I don't care either way. However, $7 for a cup of coffee does appear to be nothing but hyperbole.

The most expensive drink is $4.25 for a Frappucino. So you'd have to include all kinds of additions/extras to hit $7 fo sho!!!
