OK for all of you conspiracy theorist out there then this should jump out at you as it was pointed out to me and I looked it up and it is correct:

10-1 (Straight up)-- Last 11 Laker games in playoffs record when Crawford referees
9-8(Straight up) -- Lakers record last 17 playoff games without Crawford.

I will give you one guess as to which NBA ref has been sent to do Game 7.:142smilie
Nice job NBA, the Lakers are going to win this game on their own,but it will be nice to have a fallback guy out on the floor just in case.

Last two seasons of playoffs:
Lakers are 21-11 in 32 games:

14-10 without Crawford as ref.
7-1 with Crawford(only loss was elimination game vs Celtics 131-92 game which is very hard to fix).

Also it was Joey Crawford who tossed Artest in Game 2 with the Rockets down 10 with 8 minutes to go. I guess he wanted to make sure this score stuck to tie the series.

NBA is a total disgrace.

:toast: WOW!! good stuff there kegray.some of the shit in the NBA is almost ignorant, I bet if this was pontes out to David stern he would have some lame ass answer with a smirk in his face saying how coincedental it is that those numbers back up a theory of conspiracy. More exposure of the FOOLS league. Impressive!!

That is very intersting.....Do you know the ATS numbers

Give me a few minutes and I will tell you.

I also know this:
Rockets this post season:
7-3 record in games without Crawford.
0-2 record in games with Crawford.

Rocket fan site has a petition to NBA asking for Crawford to not be assigned to this game with all kinds of stats that sway the game in Lakers direction.
NBA is saying no ref crew has been assigned until Sunday morning, but it is a known fact that the Crawford was sent to LA.:(

Last two seasons in the playoffs:

Lakers in Joey Crawford ref games:

5-2 ATS / 7-1 OVERALL

None cover games were Game 3 vs. Celtics. Lakers won 87-81 line was LA(-9.5).
Game 6 @Celtics. Celtics won 131-92 line was Bos(-4).

What is more interesting is when they assign him to LA games:
This year Houston takes game 1 in LA, Crawford works Game 2.
Last year in the Utah series, he is sent to Utah for Game 6 with Lakers up 3-2 and sure enough no game 7 needed.
Next series vs. SA, Lakers lead 2-1 with Game 4 in SA and enter Joey Crawford. LA goes up 3-1 with 93-91 win(NBA apologizes for Crawford no call on Derek Fischer foul on Brent Barry to end game).
Next series is Boston and Lakers down 0-2 enter Crawford to right the ship and Lakers win game 3.
Next game Crawford does is elimination game 6, not even Joey Crawford could keep LA in that one.

I feel like I should be trying to find Elvis right now or find out who killed Kurt Cobain.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, and Crawford is under the microscope, its possible that with his back against the wall he'll call a much cleaner game tomorrow

I still think the Lakers will take of business...just sayin' I wouldn't count on Crawford to get it done

Not counting on Crawford and I expect the Lakers to win with or without Crawford and probably cover.
Just interesting stats to say the least.
Try and tell me the NBA doesn't want to HYPE :
KOBE vs. LEBRON

They had Bos/LA last year and the NBA loved it.
Just seems strange that when there is a sense of danger Crawford surfaces. I am gonna look at Boston last year games and see if he did games of serious danger to Celtics. Maybe he is the NBA's hired gun.

Well that didn't take long.
First game I pull up for Boston is Game 7 this year vs Bulls and sure enough there is Joey Crawford.

Crawford also worked Game 3 in that series with it tied at 1-1 and he was the one that didn't eject Rondo after he tossed Heinrich into the scorers table.
Celtics win game and go up 2-1.

Orlando leading 2-1 this season and enter Joey Crawford @Orlando. This was the Big Baby game winner.
Not saying Crawford controls who wins, but how can this be a conincidence???

Here is another stat that is mind boggling:

Since 2001 Dan Crawford(no relation to Joey) has worked 16 Mavericks playoff games:
The Mavs are 1-15 straight up in those 16 games.

Great stuff. One of the stats that handicappers need to be aware of. Years ago I thought this to be irrelevent. As the years went on I started scratching my head and realized the human element. Whether it be a silent mandate by nba,nfl or a like or dislike of a player, coach, owner or entire organization. Why you just can't cap using court numbers. Variables make you scratch your head!

I guess the Rockets fan website petition to the NBA didn't work:
http://www.nba.com/news/referee.html

This is just plain pathetic by the NBA. Going to be looking to see how many calls go against Houston early.
Just becuase the game finishes with LA by 20 may not mean Crawford didn't help it get to that point.
Houston is short on bigs so lets how many early whistles go on Scola/Hayes/Landry.

I gotta go with the JOEY CRAWFORD PARLAY:
LAKERS(-12)
OVER 193
100 wins 265

OVER is 43-23 in Crawford games this year.
LAKERS are 5-0 ATS last two season in playoffs except for Boston games when Crawford refs.

One final piece on NBA DISGRACE:
NBA REF GUIDEBOOK:
Assignments
The following criteria go into determining crew assignments:
No referee will officiate a game in the same city within 14 days.

Joey Crawford worked game 2 in LA 11 days ago.
