I'ts no secret that Tomko's #'s are chit @Coors -- virtually every pitcher's #'s are worse there.
For those visiting starters whose #'s are greatly inflated at Coors, I would be curious to see how they perform there in game #1 of the trip vs games later in the series.
This will be game #4 on this trip, for SF. I suspect that, to a degree, players will become somewhat acclimatized to the thinner air after a few days. Tomko may have better success in a game on day #4 in the rockies than he would on the first day of a trip there. Just a hunch.
Not that the following counts as reasonable support, but the Tampa Bay Lightning had their best showing in Calgary in game #4 (going by their giddy-up, not by the scoreboard), the only contest in which they had spent several days at the higher altitude.
