Is it still a play if there is a day off in between? For example, home fav loses on Sunday, has Mon off, then is home fav on Tues. Would that count as a play?

This system looks good....so far...If anyone hasn't done so, I was going to go back and look at the last 4 seasons to see if it holds up. Has anyone looked at previous season data?

I count a day off being ok. For example the White sox lost as home fav then had a day off then came back as home fav which made them a play yesterday.

I quickly scanned your thread, and you have HIT the nail on the head.

My system is a tweak of what you are doing and this WILL make money in the long run as I am currently up 36 units (for those of you that know me, yeah, baseball is STILL my bread and butter...4 years running now....) but I have employed a double down theory which takes a bit of gonads, but it will be profitable in the long run.

I usually like "GOOD" home teams after a loss. (ie: teams that are winning more than 50% of their home games....)

and everyone out there, don't be scared of laying the juice for 2 units against TB / COLORADO / on the road for the rest of the season...it's been working for the last 3 years and until these teams can win on the road....take advantage.

There appears to be some conflicting notes here. I hope some one can clarify.

This is how I see it, please correct me if I am wrong.


Play on a HOME FAV if they lost their last game at HOME as a fav as long as they are playing with NIL or ONE days rest.


the reason I ask this is that some play have been mentioned where the home team is a fav off a loss as a fav but that loss was on the road.

Only way that would be used is if a home team loses at home as fav in game 1 of series, then lost last game of privous series as fav. THen are a home fav for 3rd game. This would then be a double play instead of single play.
