Anybody know?

Seton Hall should win this game regardless but without Rice the Hurricanes are pathetic.

RICE'S RETURN

UM should get a morale boost from the return of leading scorer Darius Rice, who missed the past two games with a foot injury. Rice is expected to start, though he might not play the entire game.

Hurricane guards Guillermo Diaz and Armondo Surratt will have their hands full with All-American candidate Andre Barrett, who averages a team-high 17.6 points and leads the Pirates in assists (6.2), steals (3.5), and three-point field goals (58).

''Barrett keeps them in the game, is a fine point guard who gets the ball where it needs to go and doesn't turn it over very often,'' Clark said. ``We have to make sure Barrett doesn't dominate the game.''

An equally big concern is Seton Hall's physical style. The Hurricanes prepared for the Pirates by practicing with no fouls, banging and pushing each other up and down the court.

UM also needs to improve its overall defense. The Hurricanes rank 12th in the Big East in scoring defense (69.5 points allowed), 13th in field-goal percentage defense (44 percent), and 10th in blocked shots. UM is also 13th in assist/turnover ratio, so Clark said his team needs to take particularly good care of the ball against Barrett.
