Denver continues to put 8 or 9 in the box, why why why doesnt Roethlisberger audible and take advantage of that? This is the biggest difference between Pittsburgh and teams like Indy and NE.

:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: It's like clockwork... a team gets up by more than one score late in the game and you pretty much KNOW that their defense is going to let up and give a score. God forbid a team should play a full 60 minutes ya know? I'm beginning to think Pitt may win this game after all...
I'm dealing with this as well over in the Southern Miss game. Up 20-0 and now it's 26-24. :shrug:
3 and out for the Broncs. Predictable. Once they got up 14 they started playing not to lose, rather than to win. I'm just hoping if Pitt wins they do it with a TD and a FG, not two TDs.
What ever happened to defense? Seen so many teams score late TDs just shredding defenses so easily. It ain't all "the prevent".
I think it's a mindset more than anything. I think they realize they have a big lead and they start playing conservatively and start watching the clock, hoping time will run out before they give up the lead.
