Steelers @ Bucs

With the Pack facing the Vikes Sunday Night, the Bucs are in need of a win to keep pace in the NFC Central. Coming home off a loss in which they allowed over 30 points (might as well be 100 for them), I'll look for them to shut down the Steeler Offense which isn't exactly lighting up the scoreboard.

Look for Tampa to stuff Pitt's conservative running game and force the Steelers to throw more. Result = Errors from a pass offense wanting of efficiency.

Steelers have maxed out at 3 straight wins and are now playing their second straight on the road--usually a bad setting for Northeast teams if they are now playing in Florida or California climate vs a team outside their division. Bucs let the dogs out...

Agree with you on the stratagy to make Pittsburgh throw the ball. Keep in mind that Pittsburgh has a pretty good defense itself. Tampa hasn't exactly lit up the scoreoard this year. Sure they scored 28 against a 1-3 overated Tennesse team, but they only scored 10 against Dallas, 16 against Minnisota and 14 against Green Bay. Pittsburgh is leading the AFC in defense.

I'm taking the points in what looks like a very low scoring and very boring game. Good luck whatever you do

Love the Bucs in this spot. Brad Johnson sucks but the Dee will put him in enough good spots to win this one.

Tito, I have to strongly disagree in your thoughts on this game. This is a KEY game for dungy and the rest of the team. I'm sure that is what the odds makers were thinking when they came out with a line of 6 at opening. Dungy has been given the word (open it up or your out). Pitts over rated def will be get the test today.
My opinion on this game is the bucs will resume from where they left off last week by airing it out from the get go. With Dunn back look out for him in the flats.
Most of this info was given to me from inside source. GL

HEY TAXI DRIVER
I READ YOUR POSTS, AND I KNOW YOU'RE A GOOD CAPPER. THIS GAME WAS A NO PLAY FOR ME. TAMPA WINS, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'LL COVER THAT 4 1/2 POINT SPREAD. PITTSBURGH'S
DEFENSE LOOKS BETTER THAN T.B.'S DEF
I THINK THIS GAME WILL BE A SQUEAKER.

Obviously the key to stopping Pitt is stopping the run and make Kordell throw. That has been every teams philosophy. Problem is that Steelers continue to win the war of the lines. bettis is running better then he has in past few years. Tampa will offer the stiffest test yet but Bucs defense has not been the dominant group of past two seasons.

I like the steelers in a close one.

With Pitt avg. 192 yards rushing per game and the Bucs only avg. 75 and against the number one def., TB won't be able to run the ball. Also Pitt has big corners to match up with Keyshawn so Brad will have trouble passing. Kordell is avg. over 60% pass efficiency and Pitt has better punter and kicker so the win the field position battle and win the field goad battle. Pitt 16 TB 10

I love TB Today. Even though the steelers are my team. Tb will stuff the run. Pitt cant pass at all. Tb will have much better offense then pitt. both dfenses are good but home team needs big victory.

TB 23
Pitt 10
