If they are serious about dealing Ben, I think they'd take less than a top 10 pick. If they got offered a package of picks including maybe a 1st next year, I think they'd take it.

Who in the hell would trade a top 10 pick for a guy who is:
Suspended for 6 games.
Coming off two rape allegations.
A well known public douchebag.
A publicity nightmare.
Nearly killed himself on a bike.
A guy who is one mistake away again in life from getting an even longer suspension.

Proven NFL QB sure, but top 10 pick for this guy is foolish.
2nd or 3rd rounder at best.

McNabb went for a 2nd and a 3rd or 4th the next year.

Big Ben troubled past means he is worth no more than a aged McNabb.

My guess is ZERO teams have interest in Big Ben for a 1st rounder of any kind no matter what Steelers are saying.
