Happy Holidays to All.

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on this game. I've watched both of these teams play throughout the year (Thanks to DirecTV) and don't understand why the line is "only" 7. I fully understand that its a rivalry game but I dont see the Browns having the weapons to stay close. The Steelers cannot afford to sit starters (I believe they hold their own destiny IF they win out) and have enough offensive fire power to win this game by double digits. The "experts" have pegged this game to be low scoring and believe it or not - I agree, but thats because of the Browns inept offense (in my opinion). I truly see a game close to a score of around Pitt 26 Browns 6.

Can I get your thoughts on this game? Even if its only 5 words - please share because I'm thinking of making this a a good size play.

Once again - Happy Holidays to All. Be safe.

You could very well be right. The Browns defense has been playing good of late, but offensive they should get shut down. But don't forget the Browns were like +12 on the road against Cincy which is also a rival game.

the browns/steelers line hasn't been more than 7 in about 5 years. there are a lot of steelers fans i know who think the line is really high this week. that seems to be the general consensus from the cleveland and pittsburgh people. i was surprised to see it was more than 4.5. some pittsburgh people thought 5.5 or 6 at the most. normally, this is a spot where i would say frye struggles (going up against a good defense) but he faced a better defense when he played jacksonville and performed well. think we're looking at a 17-13 or 20-13 game.

I also like the Steelers in this one, but how about making a nice size teaser play. Get 6 in the Bears, Pats, and Steelers. Seems like a good bet to me, I took that BIG!

Good luck with your plays ANK and everyone else.

Happy Holidays!

Steelers have everything in the world to play for. While the 5-9 Bowns will just get beaten by the Steelers running game. I cant see the steelers losing this game. Steelers control their own destiny and I dont see the Browns getting in their way.

I am from Pgh Pa and I am truly scared of this game!!

This is what I don't understand. I have heard many Steeler fans scared of this game. I think Coach Cowher will have a big part in motivating this Steelers team to play Pittsburgh ball for 48 minutes. I cannot see Frye being succesful in this game.

Scotter - good luck to you too!

I like the Browns to play very tough at home. Getting 7 as a home dog in this series is a ton.

Thanks Clem. I agree that getting 7 in this kind of rivalry is tough. Maybe I should just make this a "no play". Lot of great cappers saying "Buyer Beware" on this one. Part of me was looking at the pathetic Browns offense and was also thinking "Ok, the oddsmakers know that this is a rivalry game, why would they make the line one whole touchdown? Do they want money on the Browns who are also the home team?"

One person was stating that the Steelers would be a good candidate for one leg of a teaser and that I agree with. Dont know what other team would finish that leg but I do agree that Pitt -1 looks good.

I will say this, IF the Browns cover the 7 points, I believe its going to be a back door cover. I know, I know....a cover is a cover is a cover but in my opinion I dont think this will be a close game through out . HaHa - maybe I'll put a little cash on the Steelers.

Once again - thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts and more importantly - have a safe and relaxing Holiday!

It seems like every year a team "with nothing to play for" beats a team that thinks they are going to the play offs. Why is Pitt in this position ? Are they going to the play offs ? I'm not so sure.

i disagree on the total i think this will be high scoring :)

I hope you are right JB because I think if the game soars OVER the total, it will be due to the Steelers offense.

GLTA!

ok - decided to take the Steelers -7. I think Frye is going to make some mistakes (fumbles, ints) and the Steelers will win this game by DD (IMO).

Good Luck To All!!!
