Steelers (+4) over Baltimore

The Ravens @ home are tough, but they are dreadful on offense. If Cowher follows Cleveland's game plan, they can shut down Lewis. That being said the Steelers can run on this Ravens team. The have a great O-line and powerful back in Duce Staley. Also the Steelers can throw on this team especially in the direction of deion. I'm guessing McAllister will be on Ward so that means Plaxico covered by Sanders. All Maddox has to do is throw it high and let Burress go up and get it. I'm sick after watching Boller run the Ravens offense, thats why giving any team 4 points is a lot. All the Steelers have to do is shadow Lewis and put coverage on Todd Heap, and they might get a shut out.

KC -6 over Carolina

GB showed that a good running back and O-line can push the front 4 of Carolina around. Well that's what KC has on offense. The crowd at Arrowhead will be ready for this game. Granted KC has almost zero production from WR's, Green Bay beat this team running the ball not throwing. Defensively KC just isn't good. Yes they got somewhat better than last year but s--t is s--t regardless of color. That being said I also think Carolinas O-line is a mess and even a sub par KC defense can pressure Dehlome (sp). Especially Fujita off the week side blitz, something that worked against Denver. The defense for CAR was quoted saying "we were embarrassed", I'm sure they will come out swinging, but KC has is the better team.

Washington (-3) over NYG
Homer play but regardless. After watching the NYG/ Philly game, one has to see Kurt Warner just doesn't have it anymore. The defensive Co's know to blitz him because he gets quick in the pocket and rushes throws, ALSO any pressure against him, HE PUTS HIS HEAD DOWN. Not looking up field but rather looking around to escape, leading to fumbles. Defensively NYG has all new LB's and new scheme, making it hard to make adjustments on the field. Philly had success running the ball and that is a big part of Gibbs Offense. Not as much as the Redskin offense as it is the defense, they will cause pressure and force turnovers. We all know that if Kurt starts to screw up, the boo birds will come out and Kurt will start to pout and cry. IMO this NYG is just buying time, they are throwing Warner out there because Coughlin knows the line can't protect him.

I agree 100% with what your saying!! Pittsburg can outscore Baltimore, KC can outscore Carolina and Washington can stop NYG on offense. Looks like a sweep to me!

Irish like your last two, but am really wary of Pitt. Balt lost Div. game last week to Cleve. Play Div. game this week with Pitt. Play on the road next week, Div. game in Cinncy. Lose those three and season is over. I can hear R. Lewis in the locker room right now.
"This is our pivotal game of the year, lose this and say "Good night Alice." I wouldn`t touch Pitt this week. Balt. or watch. Just another opinion.

Good luck,

another thought....washington seems to be everybody`s "easy" game....nobody`s on the g`ints.........and the line isn`t moving...

maybe everyone is right....it seems logical to me..warner`s absolutely ridiculous.....but it makes you think a bit....

just thinking out loud...

all the best,irish...
